TRiP MAGAZEEN 1992-1994 The Complete Collection2024
Context:
As Lead Designer at Blurring Books NYC, I designed and art-directed this archival book chronicling TRiP Mag, a pioneering American rave zine published in Tampa, Florida from 1992–1994. Produced pre-internet on early desktop tools, TRiP Mag captured the rise of US rave culture through over 60 interviews with artists like Aphex Twin, The Prodigy, Orbital, and Moby, alongside 750+ genre-spanning record reviews. Revered by global scenes and cited by DJ Mag, Mixmag, and others, TRiP served as a vital link between American ravers and the international underground.
